Covid Policies

*Please note that these guidelines are based on CDC guidelines and are subject to change. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to work through this time together.

We are excited to continue dance classes this year, and we hope that you are too! Please carefully read the list below to see the precautions we will be taking in effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Studio Recommendations/Procedures:

  • Masks are recommended for everyone aged 3+, but not mandatory.

  • Disposable masks are available at the studio for anyone who wants them.

  • Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout the studio.

  • Studio doors are kept open and fans on for increased airflow.

  • Please have your student bring a labeled water bottle for class. We will no longer be providing water cups.

COVID Exposure/Positive Test/Symptoms:

  • If a student is exposed to COVID, they must stay home for 48 hours, isolate from the positive individual, and continue to test negative each day before coming to class. If the individual is within their household, they must wear a mask upon return to class in addition to this.

  • After a student has a positive COVID test, must stay home for 10 days and be fever-free without medication for 72 hours before returning to class.

  • If a student is COVID-negative but displaying symptoms such as mild cough/sniffles/congestion, they are required to wear a mask to class and continue to test until symptoms subside. An N95 or KF-94 graded mask is recommended in these circumstances.

  • In the event of an in-class COVID exposure, all families will be notified and the studio deep-cleaned.

  • If a child is sent home from school for any health-related reason, they may not come to class that day.

Disclaimer/Illness:

Understand that sending your child to any class at CDT may mean that they come into close proximity to someone who has been exposed to Covid-19, just as in any other public setting. We cannot assume responsibility for this. Should someone at CDT be diagnosed with Covid-19, we have a procedure in place to contact all families and decontaminate the studio.

Should your child become ill or develop symptoms during class time, we will contact the parent for immediate pickup and all other families will be notified.

Please do not bring your student to class if they have a runny nose, cough, fever, headache, or any other COVID symptoms.
